FOR THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT:
OPEN October 3, 2022 to October 21, 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Operate Chapter Heavy Equipment (i.e. Grader & Backhoe)
● Schedule and maintenance of Chapter Heavy Equipment(s)
● Ability to grade roads and other duties as assigned.
● Responsible Customer Service
● Part-time; On-call scheduling
Preferred Credentials:
● Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy equipment and maintenance
● General road construction (erosion control and drainage) and
maintenance experience
● Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus
Knowledge of:
Local, state and federal laws, policies and procedures; basic heavy equipment
operation and maintenance; pulling flatbed trailers; occupational safety and
health guidelines, practices and procedures.
Skills in:
Safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment and machinery, and
performing general road construction and maintenance assignments.
