Temporary Heavy Equipment Operator
(Backhoe, Flatbed, Trailer, and Heavy–Duty Truck)
Worksite Location: Becenti Chapter
Work Day/Hours: Primarily Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Position Type: Temporary Employment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance. Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
- Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add material.
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide a Valid State Commercial’s Driver’s License and Heavy Equipment Certification Accurately completed Chapter Employment Application
- 0 Participant must be a registered voter with Becenti Chapter
- Participant must be 18 years or old
- Navajo Nation Voter Registration Card
- Social Security Card
