Nazlini Community School giving early dismissal, closures through March 7
Decision made in the aftermath of COVID–19 case spikes
The Navajo Nation Department of Diné Education (DODE) and Nazlini Community School, Inc. announced the school has issued an early dismissal to students on Friday, March 3.
This decision was made following a spike in positive COVID-19 cases within the Nazlini community. The Department made the decision with the health and safety of our students and staff being the top priority.
In addition, in-person classes will be canceled for Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7 at Nazlini Community School. Students must take a COVID test before returning to the premises.
Learning packets as well as breakfast and lunch will be delivered to students on March 6 and 7. The tentative school reopening date is Wednesday, March 8.
