Northern Navajo Medical Center Community Vaccine Event to be Re-scheduled from September 25
to October 9, Will Offer both the Bivalent COVID-19 Booster and Seasonal Flu Vaccines
Shiprock, New Mexico – Due to national issues with vaccine supply, Northern Navajo Medical
Center’s next Community Vaccine event originally scheduled for Sunday, September 25, 2022 is
cancelled and has been rescheduled to October 9, 2022. Both the flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines
will be available for everyone.
The Community Vaccine event will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at
Shiprock High School.
Upcoming community vaccine events:
• Sunday, October 9, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Shiprock High School
• Thursday, September 29, at Shiprock Fairgrounds; A special vaccine event for Elders will be
held on Elder Day.
NNMC provides primary COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots on Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to
3:30 PM at the NNMC Drive-Up Vaccine Trailer.
