DESCRIPTION:You are invited to an outreach event to learn about the  \nFEDERAL BLACK LUNG PROGRAM  \nIf you are a current or former coal miner\, or the survivor of a miner whose death was attributed to pneumoconiosis (Black Lung disease)\, and are interested in learning about the program\, please stop by! \nTuesday June 27\, 2023 9am – 1pm  \nCourtyard by Marriot  \n560 Scott Ave. \nFarmington\, NM 87401 \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nWednesday June 28\, 2023 9am – 1pm  \nPhil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center  \nState Rte 504 \nShiprock\, NM 87420 \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nThursday June 29\, 2023 10am-2pm  \nKayenta Monument Valley High School  \nMustang Blvd & US-163 Kayenta\, AZ 86033 \nBlack Lung staff will be available to answer questions and assist claimants  \nwith filing or refiling a Black Lung claim.  \nThe Black Lung Benefits Act provides compensation to coal miners who are totally disabled by pneumoconiosis arising out of coal mine employment\, and to survivors of coal miners whose deaths are attributable to the disease.
