DESCRIPTION:Arizona Department of Economic Security Media Statement Regarding Closure of  \nthe Window Rock Office  \nThe Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) Window Rock office\, located at Highway 264 and Route 12 in Window Rock\, Arizona closed when the lease expired on Wednesday\, May 31. \nDES staff will now be available to provide Nutrition\, Cash and Medical Assistance services at the Ganado Chapter House\, located at Highway 264 and Chapter Drive in Ganado\, Arizona. Services will be provided between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays beginning June 16. \n\nAdditionally\, DES staff will be available at the Fort Defiance Chapter House\, located at Old Red Lake Rd #19\, in Fort Defiance\, Arizona. Services will be provided between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday\, Tuesday and Thursdays beginning June 12.\n\nDES will continue to look for other opportunities to maintain its presence in Window Rock and neighboring communities. The next nearest DES office is located in Chinle\, Arizona. \nIndividuals in need of Nutrition\, Cash and Medical Assistance in Window Rock can also access services online and by phone.
